Project Description
Abu Dhabi Ports Group — one of the largest port operators in the Gulf region — engaged Sealion to deliver two specialist scopes at one of their operational port facilities in Abu Dhabi. The first scope was a comprehensive underwater berth inspection program covering pile condition, concrete soffit assessment, corrosion survey, cathodic protection system evaluation, and fender inspection — all executed by Sealion's certified commercial divers with full CCTV documentation and detailed technical reporting produced for the port authority's asset management records. The second scope was the installation of marine navigation lighting and associated generator systems — a safety-critical project ensuring that vessels approaching and departing the berth have adequate visual aids to navigation in compliance with IALA and port authority requirements. Sealion's marine electrical team designed and installed the lighting systems, laid the cabling infrastructure, commissioned the generators, and completed full functional testing before handover. Both projects were delivered with zero safety incidents and within the allocated timelines — an outcome that reinforced Sealion's credentials as a multi-discipline marine contractor capable of operating across the Gulf.
